Celine Keogh Psychotherapy

I hold a MA in Core Process Psychotherapy having studied at the Karuna Institute in Devon, affiliated to Middlesex University. .

I am an accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy  & the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy  which is an affiliated accreditation body of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy and I am an accredited member of Association of Core Process Psychotherapists.

I have a love of and curiosity in life and people and believe in the inherent well-being and potential for change and possibilities for all people no matter where they are currently in their life or where they have  started out from . I have spent  my career working with and supporting people in particular parents, children and teenagers.

I have over 30 years experience in the statutory and voluntary sectors of social care and community development in Ireland and the UK. My experience includes working with family trauma, physical and sexual abuse, the impact of addiction and substance misuse , domestic violence, grief, separation , adoption , loss and anxiety. My primary qualification is in Social Care; I am also a qualified in Early Childhood Development  Monterssori Teacher and Adult Educator, along with having trained as a licenced Marte Meo Therapist.( an interactional analysis communication based intervention with specific focus on parenting ). I am  also trained in the delivery of Non - Violent - Resistance Programme, a supportive programme in resolving family conflict between parents and child. Theraplay level 1 , and implementing DDP.

   I  am also trained in  Holistic Therapies, Aromatherapy , Life Skills Consultancy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Sound Healing.

 I have a keen interest in spirituality, sound, voice work along with working with body movement and meditation.

Spending time with my family and friends in Dublin and around Ireland is most important to me and I also value time in nature and I love to travel.
